Nutrition Expert

HammondCare is establishing an internal Allied Health Care Team to work in Residential Care.

As a nutrition expert, you will have the autonomy to work with residents to achieve optimal care outcomes while being part of a broader team of in-house Allied Health professionals.

You will deliver resident-centred, evidence-based care in an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement consistent with the values and ethics of HammondCare and Dietitians Australia.

The role involves providing effective and efficient nutrition services to residents, their representatives, and HammondCare staff.

Additionally, you will participate in assessing residents' nutritional needs, setting goals and providing advice on appropriate interventions.

Close collaboration with family members, staff, and clinical teams is essential for success in this role.

1. Deliver high-quality dietetic services to residents and stakeholders.

• A commitment to HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action.
• Tertiary qualification as a dietitian acceptable to the Dietitians Association of Australia.
• Maintain Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) or provisional APD status.
• Practical experience or sound knowledge in Aged Care.
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between HammondCare sites and services.
