Nurse Immunization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Community Health team in a critical role that promotes the health and wellbeing of children using high standards of nursing practice.

We are responsible for delivering safe and competent standards of nursing practice as per Child and Adolescent Health Service and Community Health Service policies, standards and clinical protocols. Our team works closely with other healthcare professionals to provide evidenced-based Immunisation services for children and adolescents.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the delivery of safe and competent standards of nursing practice
• Responsible for providing evidenced-based Immunisation services for children and adolescents
• Assess the holistic needs of individuals, families and population groups guided by primary health care principles and social determinants of health
• Develops, implements and evaluates goal-focused health care plans including referrals to other services where appropriate
