About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist - Cloud and Networking to join our team at Expedite Technology Solutions. As an infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based network solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud-based network architectures using AWS and GCP platforms
  • Analyze network reports and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Deploy agents to monitor lab networks and enrich existing data
  • Develop dashboards to visualize KPIs from audits
  • Provide engineering support for lab environments and deploy network solutions for research teams
  • Set up networks and systems to enable end-to-end connectivity for cloud and on-premises deployments
  • Conduct testing and tuning of enabled services to ensure optimal performance
  • Utilize internal tools to integrate network metrics for issue identification and monitoring
  • Serve as primary point of contact for service incidents and communicate mitigation steps to customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
  • 5-8+ years of experience in cloud computing, network design, and implementation
  • Strong understanding of node topology, network security zones, access control lists, firewalls, and point-to-point tunnels
  • Experience with Linux architecture and network testing
