Como miembro del equipo de gráficos de conocimiento en este rol, trabajarás en proyectos dinámicos que apoyan directamente las características de múltiples productos en Apple. Trabajarás con ingenieros inteligentes en un equipo geo-distribuido. Estarás diseñando y construyendo sistemas distribuidos de múltiples centros de datos.
Tus proyectos girarán en torno a la creación de sistemas para evaluar la integridad/calidad de una versión canónica enriquecida del gráfico de conocimiento a la escala de Apple. Esto implicará un manejo intensivo de datos con proyectos que se centran en análisis de datos, descubrimiento de datos y algoritmos.
Para medir el éxito de esta persona:
Una vez que esté familiarizado, el ingeniero trabajará de manera autosuficiente para diseñar, implementar, probar y llevar los proyectos a producción. La persona será responsable de construir soluciones de plataformas de procesamiento de datos que puedan realizar cálculos intensivos en algoritmos, escalar el diseño a miles de millones de entidades y relaciones, y construir varios aspectos de un gráfico de conocimiento.
Requisitos
Calificaciones clave:

Más de 5 años de experiencia práctica en desarrollo de software profesional.
Fuertes habilidades en diseño y arquitectura en la creación de soluciones alrededor de plataformas e infraestructuras de procesamiento de datos.
Fuertes habilidades en desarrollo de software en Scala y/o Java.
Experiencia trabajando con motores de procesamiento distribuido (por ejemplo, Flink, Spark, Hadoop), soluciones de transmisión (por ejemplo, Kafka), almacenamiento distribuido y recuperación (por ejemplo, Cassandra).
Disfrutarás trabajando en gráficos de conocimiento y sumergiéndote en problemas que no se han resuelto antes.

Responsabilidades clave:

Diseñar e implementar sistemas que dependan de diversas fuentes de datos.
Diseñar e implementar tuberías de procesamiento de datos y procesos ETL.
Diseñar e implementar flujos de trabajo tolerantes a fallos.
Programación y planificación de ejecuciones de trabajos.
Entender y abogar por la importancia de la alta precisión de los datos en todo el sistema.
Difundir la cultura de mantener alta calidad de datos para apoyar la construcción de productos basados en datos.
Tomar decisiones informadas sobre sistemas de almacenamiento al diseñar e implementar soluciones de ingeniería/almacenamiento de datos.

Cualificaciones requeridas:

Conocimiento profundo de al menos un marco de procesamiento de grandes datos (preferiblemente Spark, Hadoop).
Conocimiento de los principios ETL.
Experiencia con al menos uno de los siguientes: Scala o Java.
Experiencia con computación en la nube y paradigmas sin servidor, construcción de tuberías de procesamiento de datos y flujos de trabajo complejos.
Experiencia con tecnologías de transmisión.
Conocimiento de sistemas operativos tipo Unix.
Dominio del idioma inglés.
Experiencia con SQL y conceptos de almacenamiento de datos.

Deseable:

Conocimiento sólido de bases de datos relacionales y no relacionales.
Experiencia con tecnologías de transmisión.
Experiencia con programación de flujos de trabajo y/o herramientas específicas de programación de trabajos.
Experiencia con enfoques de CQRS y event sourcing.
Experiencia con almacenamiento distribuido y computación distribuida.
Experiencia con aplicaciones virtualizadas y contenedorizadas (Docker, Kubernetes).
Deseo de construir activos de datos valiosos y ayudar a los tomadores de decisiones empresariales.
