About the Role

As an Accounts Payable & Payroll Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our financial operations, supporting payroll and accounts payable to keep our organization on track. Your work ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, impacting every department across the company.

  • Payroll Support: Maintain and verify timesheet records, assist in biweekly payroll processing, and handle employee pay data using ADP.
  • Vendor & AP Management: Work with vendors, code invoices, and support the Accounts Payable team with weekly tasks.
  • Financial Operations: Prepare reconciliations, run reports, support month-end close, and assist with state payroll tax correspondence.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Communicate with teams regarding expenses, reimbursements, and financial processes.
  • Special Projects & Growth Opportunities: Participate in system implementations, acquisitions, and other high-impact accounting projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with a passion for numbers, data accuracy, and problem-solving. You should have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, or accounting is required.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, or accounting.
  • Skills: A love for numbers, data accuracy, and problem-solving. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and ADP Workforce Now (a plus).
