Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Customer Banking Specialist to join our relief team based out of our Abbotsford Branch. The successful candidate will have in-depth conversations with customers about their overall banking needs, including home loans and business banking.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will support customers with enquiries, maintenance on accounts and process applications for credit products. You will also provide financial health checks, assess customers' financial needs, and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing options for customers through education and demonstration of our in-branch technology and digital banking options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding and meeting customers' needs and expectations.
  • Build relationships with customers and understand their financial goals and objectives.
  • Analyse customers' financial situations and provide recommendations for improving their financial wellbeing.
  • Process customer applications for credit products in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide education and training to customers on our in-branch technology and digital banking options.
