Bay Area Immigration Justice Advocate

The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) is a dynamic and collaborative organization dedicated to providing immigration-specific legal services, advice, and representation to low-income residents in removal proceedings. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Attorney to join our team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to provide high-quality legal services to our clients. You will be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel on immigration issues, representing clients in bond, master calendar, and individual hearings in Immigration Court, and maintaining high standards for legal protocols and record keeping.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about serving immigrants and sensitive to the needs of the low-income, culturally diverse newcomer community. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and partners, including nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community-based groups.

• A competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $84,000 per year.
