Consortium Coordinator Job Description

Première Urgence Internationale, a leading humanitarian organization, seeks a highly skilled Consortium Coordinator to lead project activities in Venezuela. The successful candidate will ensure coordination, efficiency, and quality in the implementation of consortium project activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Multi-Agency Team coordination and external representation: Ensure all teams involved in the consortium project activities are held accountable for their objectives.
  • Program coordination: Ensure activities are implemented in a timely and professional manner, according to objectives, goals, and indicators.
  • Strategy definition: Contribute to the regular assessment of needs and advocate towards partners and donors.
  • Support coordination: Ensure regular follow-up of financial, logistic, and HR resources allocated to the project.
  • Grants, audit, and compliance management: Coordinate with relevant partners to ensure respect of donor grants and partnership agreements.
Requirements:
  • Training: Master's degree in project management, political sciences, international development, humanitarian studies, or relevant areas, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in supervising diverse teams and coordinating multi-agency interventions.
  • Knowledge and skills: Strong knowledge of donor requirements, experience in writing and editing reports, and extensive knowledge in Project Cycle Management.
  • Qualities: Proven capacity for analyzing information, good communication skills, self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Languages: Strong command in English; Spanish, Arabic, and/or French are assets.
