About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Coordinator to join our team in Venezuela. As a key member of our program development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accountability of our programs and ensuring that grant proposals, donor reports, and internal reports are responsive to identified needs in the country and consistent with our overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of our fundraising strategy by assessing existing in-country sources of funding and donors' strategies
  • Manage grants, including program design, proposal development, donor reporting, and grants management capacity-building efforts
  • Ensure internal reporting and institutional knowledge management, as well as capacity building for national staff
  • Follow up on calls for proposals and granted funding to ensure appropriately designed projects, quality funding applications, and donor reporting submissions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to project management, international development, and/or social sciences
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grants management, program development, or grant compliance in an NGO setting
  • Excellent writing and coordination skills, with experience in writing high-quality proposals for major donors
  • Knowledge of major institutional donors' rules and regulations
  • Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and identify solutions
  • Strong commitment to humanitarian principles, diplomacy, and open-mindedness
What We Offer
  • Cadre with a Fixed-Term Contract
  • Monthly Gross Income: €2,650.00 – €3,130.00, depending on experience in International Solidarity + €50.00 per semester of seniority with PUI
  • Insurance, including medical coverage and complementary healthcare, 24/24 assistance, and repatriation
  • Daily Living Expenses (Per Diem)
  • Break Policy: 5 working days at 3 and 9 months + break allowance
  • Paid Leaves Policy: 5 weeks of paid leaves per year + return ticket every 6 months
