Injury Claims Advocate Role


This challenging yet rewarding position at In The Network requires a skilled professional to serve as an advocate for injured parties in personal injury cases. As an Injury Claims Advocate Specialist, you will utilize your exceptional organizational skills, empathy, and strong communication abilities to navigate the complex intersection of healthcare and legal processes.


Your Responsibilities



  • Communicate with clients to ensure timely and effective information sharing regarding upcoming appointments, deadlines, and other aspects of their cases.
  • Coordinate transportation to get clients to and from medical treatments, displaying a compassionate understanding of their unique challenges.
  • Collaborate with law firm counterparts to facilitate client communication regarding claims status and interactions with insurance companies, medical providers, and the legal team.
  • Manage medical requests, treatment plans, and gather and confirm receipt of required documents, forms, and authorizations.
  • Follow case direction requests from Client Case Manager Auditors and Law Firms, ensuring effective communication on important issues and correcting identified deficiencies during audits and file reviews.
  • Order medical records and other necessary documents to process claims, adhering to app/software written policies and procedures.
  • Track and create reports, meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and cultivate a collaborative work environment.
  • Embrace new tasks, attend company-wide meetings, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and become proficient in new software and technologies.

Your Qualifications



  • Extensive knowledge and experience in navigating healthcare and legal processes involved in personal injury cases.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA practices, medical records, and legal documents.
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills with precision in gathering, organizing, and filing documents.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment and prioritize tasks while delegating when appropriate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail, focusing on meeting or exceeding individual, department, and client goals.
  • Willingness to learn and become proficient in new software and technologies.
