Job Overview


As an Injury Claims Advocate Specialist with In The Network, you will serve as a dedicated advocate for injured parties navigating the complex intersection of healthcare and legal processes. This role demands strong organizational skills, empathy, and exceptional communication abilities to guide clients through the personal injury process.


About the Position



  • Schedule appointments, communicate with clients, and ensure timely information sharing regarding upcoming events and deadlines.
  • Provide transportation support when necessary, demonstrating compassion and understanding towards clients' unique challenges.
  • Collaborate with law firm counterparts to facilitate client communication regarding claims status and interactions with insurance companies, medical providers, and the legal team.
  • Maintain accurate records, organization skills, and adhere to prescribed schedules for appointments and treatments.
  • Manage medical requests, treatment plans, and general knowledge of policies to obtain policy limits.
  • Gather and confirm receipt of required documents, forms, and authorizations.
  • Follow case direction requests from Client Case Manager Auditors and Law Firms, ensuring effective communication on important issues and correcting identified deficiencies during audits and file reviews.
  • Order medical records and other necessary documents to process claims.
  • Track and create reports, adhering to app/software written policies and procedures, and meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Cultivate a collaborative work environment, embracing new tasks and attending company-wide meetings as scheduled.

Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in navigating healthcare and legal processes involved in personal injury cases.
  • Possess working knowledge of HIPAA practices, medical records, and legal documents.
  • Display strong follow-up and organizational skills with precision in gathering, organizing, and filing documents.
  • Show ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment and prioritize tasks while delegating when appropriate.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Apply attention to detail, focusing on meeting or exceeding individual, department, and client goals.
  • Be willing to learn and become proficient in new software and technologies.
