At Verne, we are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to manage key financial processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, month-end close, and payroll. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a tech-driven environment and can ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
\ComponentWe are looking for an experienced accounting professional with 4-5 years of hands-on accounting experience to join our team at Verne. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in modern accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Ramp, Bill.com, Gusto, and ideally Cin7.\ComponentKey responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements using Bill.com and Ramp; managing invoicing, collections, and customer payments in coordination with Xero and/or QBO; performing regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records; executing month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting preparation; administering payroll processes using Gusto, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely employee payments; leveraging Xero, QBO, Ramp, Bill.com, Gusto, and potentially Cin7 to streamline workflows and maintain data integrity; and assisting in preparing financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders.-
