We are seeking an Advanced Materials Consultant to join our team at Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) under the Reliability Solutions Department (RSD). As a key member of the RSD team, you will provide technical support and expertise in non-metallic materials to Global Manufacturing operating facilities.

Job Description

This role will involve working closely with the Reliability Solutions Department (RSD) to provide technical support and develop standards and procedures related to non-metallic applications. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain standards and procedures related to non-metallic applications.
  • Conduct failure investigations and produce lessons learned from Root Cause Analysis (RCAs).
  • Provide consultancy to Global Manufacturing facilities during design, construction, operations and maintenance on matters pertaining to non-metallic materials.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in mechanical engineering and non-metallic materials, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil & gas sector and five years of experience in non-metallic materials engineering.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Non-Metallic Materials, Polymers, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
  • 15 years of experience in the oil & gas sector with five years of experience in non-metallic materials engineering.
