Billing / Treasury Specialist

This person will be responsible for tracking all revenue, account receivable, account payable and reporting directly to the controller. The job requires that one works in tandem with the controller to generate reports and facilitate internal controls. This position reports directly to Controller & CFO.Responsibilities:Review patient authorization for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing informationEnsure the coordinators solve the no punch issues each Monday morningWeekly Billing to insurersReview the Explain of Benefit and do AR reconciliation, prepare billing reconciliation reportsCall insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessaryInvestigate and correct Medicaid billing adjustments, prepare manual claims reportTrace underpaid claims to appeal and follow upDispute billing variances with vendorsCommunicate with staff coordinators and intake regarding variances in dataWeekly preparation of the billing monitor report, revenue accrue reportEstablish efficiency standards and policies in dealing with insurance carriersAssist in the creation and maintenance of company's accounting proceduresCollect Material Requisition form and process the orders onlineCollect the reimbursement form and process weekly for the reimbursement to staffOrganize invoices & receipts and send to controllerAny other duties related to the positionRequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or relevant fieldExcellent Excel skills2 years in account experienceAbility to work without supervisionPlanning and organization skillsTeamworkStrong quantitative and analytical skillsKnowledge of ADP / Ontime is a plusSchedule:Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.BenefitsCompetitive pay in US DollarsYou'll get to work with some amazing, respected business professionalsWe really value and encourage input from our team membersWe offer different payment methods (Zelle, Face Bank, Binance)You'll get paid every two weeksWe'll provide you with the necessary equipment to work: Laptop, headset, mouse, and mouse padBirthday and work anniversary celebrationsAlliances with many brands grant extra benefits to freelancersWeekly recreation dynamics that foster a healthy work environment
