Part Time Retail Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated Part Time Key Holder to join our Retail Operations team at Gopuff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of products and services.
  • Store Operations: Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close the store, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
  • Team Support: Assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees, promoting a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of in-house products to provide customers with personalized recommendations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Cash Handling: Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Technology: Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Policies and Procedures: Familiarize yourself with age verification policies, maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate pricing and quantities, providing customer receipts upon request, and process refunds and exchanges efficiently.
  • Loss Prevention:
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, ensuring that our store remains a safe and welcoming space for all customers.
  • Cleanliness Standards: Maintain cleanliness standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms, promoting a positive and healthy work environment.
  • Training and Development: Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards, empowering them to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent experience.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Ability to work flexible schedules, including peak hours and nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Cash Handling Skills: Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
  • Team Orientation: Team-oriented mentality, prioritizing collaboration and teamwork over individual achievements.
  • Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, ensuring that you can safely and efficiently perform your duties.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in core subjects and essential skills.
