Position Objective
To establish and lead the company’s operations in Venezuela, driving business growth, setting up legal and operational frameworks, identifying investment opportunities, and building a high-performing team. Sales Executive/Manager will be responsible for market development, sales channel establishment, and financial planning while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Finance, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in Sales Executive/Manager roles.
Experience in the commodity trading industry is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of market analysis and financial literacy sufficient to support the sales process.
International experience, preferably in Latin America.
Strong communication skills, sales and trade business acumen.
Strong capability in managing uncertainty and engaging with different cultural contexts.
Deep understanding of investment strategies, business development, and market dynamics.
Expertise in sales and marketing strategies within the FMCG, trading, or commodity industries.
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, including government and regulatory affairs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company’s presence in the assigned market.
Identify and evaluate business opportunities, potential clients, and key accounts in the commodity and agricultural sectors.
Build, mentor, and lead the sales team, ensuring high performance and alignment with company targets.
Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to inform sales planning and strategy.
Establish and manage sales channels, distribution networks, and trading activities for key products (e.g., soybean, corn, wheat, and other agricultural commodities).
Monitor sales performance, revenue, and profitability, implementing measures to achieve financial targets.
Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, operations) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to strengthen business networks and support growth.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies in all sales operations.
Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and secure business opportunities.
