About the Job
This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in developing responsive WordPress websites while utilizing technical programming skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating concept pages, scope of work documents, and time estimates.
- Designing and developing custom themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of website components.
- Optimizing website performance, including page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Implementing and customizing third-party integrations.
- Performing website updates, backups, and security enhancements.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure website functionality and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve website development processes.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Senior WordPress Website Designer & Developer with at least 5 years of experience.
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients via Zoom and Trello boards in English.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
