National Accounts Director

Opici Wine and Spirits is looking for a dynamic and outgoing Director of National Sales to work with a family-owned company and represent fine wines and spirits from all over the world. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a passion for the wine and spirits industry.

• Accountable for Achieving National Accounts Targets
• Responsible for Communicating All National Account Programs to Opici Sales Team and Distributor SAEs
• Responsible for Program Compliance and Tracking
• Responsible for Participation in all RFPs within account base
• Retains Key National Account Relationships and SAE NASA Team Members
• Strict Adherence to Company Provided Budgets
• Manage the execution of the Business Plan & Corporate Strategy
• Travel extensively while staying within T&E budget

• Resides in a major metropolitan area with proximity to a major airport
• 10+ Years' Experience as a Supplier or Distributor with ever increasing roles & responsibilities
• 5+ Years' Experience working with On and Off Premise chain buyers; established relationships a must
• Strategic thinker that can identify trends and utilize to sell to National Accounts
• Experience submitting RFPs to various National/Chain Accounts
• Strong knowledge and passion for wine & spirits from around the world
• Strong relationships with distributor chain teams within Opici Network a plus
• Proven sales record throughout career and ability to lead and influence the marketplace
• Advanced knowledge of a variety of business software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Diver, etc.
• Experience with Nielsen, IRI, and other industry data sources
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time

Expense allowances, Eligible for Health and Welfare Package and 401k (with Company Match). Holidays and Paid Time Off. Salary range – $100K – $120K annually.
