About the Role

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Analyst to join our team of experts who help drive business growth and success. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales function globally, ensuring data quality and process improvement, and driving key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of day-to-day sales operations globally, including reviewing opportunities for accuracy and providing orders on successful deal closure.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations Manager to improve sales data quality and processes, and report on data quality metrics to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Implement surveys and define metrics for executive-level stakeholders, and support the sales team globally on CRM and other sales operations systems.
  • Deliver sales metrics, dashboards, and other ad-hoc analytical tasks, and lead automation and streamline the Lead to Order process.
Requirements
  • An exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
  • Experience in a sales operations/sales order processing role, preferably in a technology subscription-based business.
  • Experience driving data quality improvement and a systematic approach focused on robust, repeatable, and scalable outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work productively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization on a global scale.
  • Ability to manage across boundaries and communicate effectively, particularly working with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM, and ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
