Sales Territory Development Manager

Canonical seeks an Enterprise Account Executive to represent our open source solutions and software in assigned territories. This role involves building and executing a territory plan to prioritize outreach and prospecting for new business opportunities.
The successful candidate should have empathy for the customer, high intellect, passion for technology, teamwork, and energy. They must be able to travel regionally for client engagement and internationally for company events twice a year. Proficiency in Salesforce is required for maintaining accurate pipeline data and forecasts.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's level degree in engineering or computer science, experience with open source technology and solutions, detail-oriented follow-up, and a track record of achievement in sales targets and new account wins. Self-discipline and motivation are essential for success in a distributed team. The ideal candidate has professional written and spoken English, as well as any language relevant to their target market.
