Strategic Sales and Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Operations Director to join our team at Manhattan Home Design. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead our sales strategy and drive business growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives, focusing on key markets and target customers.
- Built and manage a high-performing sales team, including recruiting, training, and mentoring sales representatives to ensure exceptional customer service and results.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, architects, and designers to drive business development and growth.
- Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds goals and achieving maximum revenue potential.
Operational Excellence:
The ideal candidate will also oversee the end-to-end operations process, ensuring seamless supply chain management, inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics. They will implement operational systems and processes to scale the business efficiently as it grows, while managing relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiating contracts to optimize costs and service levels.
**Customer Experience & Retention:**
Our Sales and Operations Director will be responsible for driving a customer-centric culture, ensuring every interaction delivers exceptional service and satisfaction. They will handle escalated customer issues, gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
**Growth Strategy:**
This role requires a collaborative leader who can work closely with senior leaders to develop and execute the company's growth strategy. The successful candidate will provide insights from the market and customer feedback to inform product development and identify opportunities for new technologies and tools to enhance sales efficiency and operational effectiveness.
**Team Leadership & Development:**
As a seasoned leader, you will foster a collaborative and dynamic team environment that encourages innovation and high performance. You will conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create professional development plans for team members to ensure their growth and success.
**What We Offer:**
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a bonus structure based on individual and company performance.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and operations management, with a focus on the office furniture industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
- Proven success in a startup or high-growth environment, with experience scaling a business from the ground up.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
