Overview

Uptalent is a leading company in the North American Market, and we are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Summary

This role involves selling our services to clients in the architecture and engineering industries. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of technical requirements and be able to develop effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Attend discovery calls with clients to gather and analyze technical requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs while explaining how our service aligns with their requirements.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in the architecture and engineering industries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients and market segments.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize sales processes and meet customer needs.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the architecture and engineering industries.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and provide personalized solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with clients and promote our service.
Technical Consultation and Solution Development:
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, addressing their inquiries and technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and design teams to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations for clients.
Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the architecture and engineering industries.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify emerging customer needs and technological advancements.
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role: 3-5 years.
  • Academic training and/or knowledge of the architecture and engineering industries.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. Fluent English required.
  • Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Technical expertise in relevant products and services.
  • Market intelligence and competitor analysis capabilities.
